As part of the preparation for the Porthcawl Surf Cult Festival a group of Year 9 pupils from St John's joined in an Art
and Surfing Day in July down at Rest Bay. The students spent the morning gathering bits and pieces on the beach and turning
them into sculptures before enjoying a surf lesson in the afternoon.
