Dyslexia Action

St John’s School is an outpost centre for the Cardiff branch of Dyslexia Action.  Currently a teacher from Cardiff uses a room in the school on two days a week.  By arrangement between Dyslexia Action and parents pupils from the school are able to access lessons if needed, as are pupils from other schools.

Comenius Project

At the beginning of this academic year, St. John’s embarked on an exciting two year project with four other European schools in Turkey, Iceland, Ireland and Germany.

Known as the Comenius scheme, the venture is designed to promote links between all five countries and to encourage and foster awareness of each partner’s individual cultures and traditions – not forgetting the language, of course!
