Holiday Club

The school’s holiday club is intended to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to be looked after out of traditional school hours.

It is provided for children from Nursery to Year 7. The club runs daily throughout all school holidays from 8am to 5pm.

It is closed on public holidays and for one week at Christmas.

Prior to each holiday a programme of activities is produced which may include visits to the park, beach, cinema, pantomime and other local attractions.

    “The perfect environment in which your child can learn and achieve.” St John’s is a small, coeducational and independent school set in its own beautiful wooded site. It is based in the attractive village of Newton close to the seaside resort of Porthcawl and has been on this site since 1921.

  • Taster Days

    We welcome prospective pupils to our free taster days. We also regularly hold Parent and Toddler sessions in our Nursery, as well as our termly Open Day when it is possible to visit the whole school .
