St John’s is an independent school providing a first class academic education for boys and girls from the age of 2 years 6 months up to age 16. The aims of the school are to encourage its pupils to realise fully all aspects of their individual potential and to respect personal, moral and religious values.
We welcome children of all abilities and our small class sizes enable us to educate and motivate pupils individually alongside close monitoring of progress. For each child we build on their individual strengths enabling them to achieve the highest level of personal success possible. Our results speak for themselves and consistently place the school at the forefront of academic achievement and ensure value-added for every pupil.
A full day package is offered that includes our own daily transport, pre-school and after-school care, extra-curricular activities and a holiday club. Within the school day the curriculum is broad and is enhanced by many different activities and a variety of sporting and cultural experiences.
At St. John’s there is such a friendly, family type environment that pupils feel at home very quickly. Parents are made to feel welcome and our “open door” policy ensures that questions can easily be asked and solutions rapidly found. We believe in high standards of discipline and that a good partnership between home and school is essential, hence our Home-School Agreement and the Charter of Values.
