CurriculumThe GCSE curriculum is composed of a central core of subjects, and option choices which are made at the end of Year 9. PSME, Citizenship and Careers form part of the curriculum also. These subjects provide pupils with a broad education and solid foundation for A Level studies. Before option choices are made, there is the opportunity for parents and pupils to consult with staff in order to make an informed decision. All GCSE subjects contain coursework components or modules, which enable pupils and staff to monitor progress throughout the two-Year course. In consultation with subject teachers and the Head Teacher, it may be advisable for some pupils to take a reduced number of GCSE subjects. As part of the PSME course advice will be offered regarding careers, and work experience is available after the end of the GCSE examinations. Don't hesitate to with any request for information, or complete our Request Form for a detailed Curriculum Guide which we'll send to you.
