Huge thanks to all of you who so kindly helped with the Valentine’s Disco, as you can see from the photos everyone had a great time!

Special thanks to Caroline Taylor for her fabulous bunting which transformed the Crampton Hall and to the boys from Year 7 who provided much needed muscle for the clearance and set up of the hall!

You were all very generous in buying raffle tickets at the Eisteddfod highlights thank you, and we broke all “raffle records” by raising an amazing £223! Well done to our sales girls Clare Newman and Patricia Rock!

Deposits have been rolling in for our theatre trip to see Mamma Mia at The Prince of Wales Theatre, Piccadilly Circus on Friday 11th June. Alice El Kilany has kindly secured discount tickets for the 5pm show and we are planning to leave Bridgend on a mid morning train and return just after midnight. The total cost of the theatre and train tickets will be approximately £70 and we are asking for a deposit of £40 now as we have to make an immediate payment for the discounted tickets. Enclosed with this newsletter is an order form for the trip and please return with £40 deposit by next Tuesday if you would like to come. It should be a great day out and would
make a lovely Mother’s Day present!

We also have a special lunch coming up soon! On Friday 14th May we can all wine and dine at the fabulous Great House restaurant in Laleston where manager (and St John’s Dad), Mohammed El Kilany, is preparing a delicious menu for us! Please make sure you put this date in your diaries, the food and setting at the Great House are superb and definitely not to be missed!

As you can see, special thanks are due to Alice and Mohammed El Kilany for their kind input into our forthcoming May and June events!

Thank you very much both!
